In addition to experiencing a great evening, your attendance at this event will support the exhibition programming—including upcoming exhibitions in 2011 of artwork by Robert Bateman, renowned wild life artist, environmentalist and naturalist, as well as emerging artist Blaine Campbell of Vancouver BC. The CVAG is also host to the annual Emily Carr University at North Island College Bachelor of Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition, one of the most exciting shows of contemporary art in the Comox Valley. Also, each year we are honoured to provide the CVAG North Island College Foundation Fine Arts Bursary Fund. Funds raised also enable us to develop our art educational program, and to augment the care, conservation and development of the permanent art collection.

As the region’s only public art gallery presenting art exhibitions of a provincial and national level, we are committed to the quality of programming and services we provide. We hope you will consider attending and contributing to the success and growth of the Comox Valley Art Gallery this year.
