Festival Opening Night is on Friday Feb 1, 2013 @ 7:30 pm
Festival All Day on Saturday Feb 2, 2013 from 10 am to 6 pm
Festival Closing Night is on Saturday Feb 2,2013 @ 8:00 pm

The 22nd World Community Film Festival is a showcase of documentary films from around the world. The festival features films on social justice and environmental issues and the struggles of people for peace and justice around the world. Weekend Pass: Enjoy Friday Feb 1st Opening Night and access to all the film, including Saturday Closing Night. Visit www.worldcommunity.ca for information on the upcoming films.

Tickets: Adults $32, Low Income $17 (limited amount available)

Opening Night: Friday Feb 1st opening night starts at 7:30 pm with Reflections, Art for an Oil-Free Coast (22 min.) and Big Boys Gone Bananas! (87 min.) a thriller of documenting an independent filmmaker’s “David and Goliath” battle with Dole Corp.

Length: 3 hours a 20 min. intermission
Tickets: $14, Low Income $8
There is a limit of 50 low income tickets available for the Friday Night Opening Film.

Saturday Films: screen in 4 nearby venues simultaneously from 10 am to 6 pm. Many award-winning films are included. Family venue - Lower Sid - films for children 6 to 12 years from 1 pm to 2:30 pm.

Tickets: Adults $22, Low Income $12 (limited amount available), Youth (under 20) $3
        Children up to 12 years old receive a free wristband for films when accompanind a paying Adult
Seating: Festival Seating
Note: The films are at different venues located withing walking distance of the Sid Williams Theatre. Seating is ‘First Come, First Served’ with no guarentee that there will be room at a particular film for everyone. Arrive early to your favorite screenings.

Closing Night: Saturday Feb 2nd closing night at 8:00pm at the Sid Williams Theatre – Occupy Love - Join acclaimed director Velcrow Ripper on a journey deep inside the global revolution of the heart.

Length: 2 hours, no intermission
Tickets: Saturday Night Only $10, or purchase a weekend pass for Friday night and Saturday all day for $32
