CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association (DCBIA), together with our community sponsors, invites businesses, community organizations, schools and families to participate in the 2026 Comox Valley Christmas Parade.

Join us in celebrating this longstanding Comox Valley tradition, featuring festive floats, music, community spirit and Santa Claus.

This year, we’re taking a little inspiration from Moonlight & Magic’s “Elf Yourself” theme. Participants are welcome to bring some elf-inspired fun to their floats, costumes and decorations. The theme is entirely optional, and all festive entries are welcome.

Seven prizes of $500 will be awarded across the categories listed below.

Registration is $10 for nonprofit entries and $25 for commercial entries.

Register by Monday, November 23, 2026.

On December 5, join us downtown as the parade travels along 5th Street from Harmston Avenue to Cliffe Avenue. Enjoy the festivities and visit our downtown businesses.

PARADE DETAILS

Parade Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026

Parade Time: Participants may begin arriving at the marshalling area at 5:00 p.m., must be in position by 5:30 p.m., and the parade begins at 6:00 p.m.

Parade Route: Harmston Avenue, down 5th Street to Cliffe Avenue.

Application Deadline: Monday, November 23, 2026
